Eyes closed
Your honey dew eyes were always my biggest demise,
I'd look into them and find myself losing time.
I'd known that this was going to hurt,
And that one day you'd wake up and realize I wasn't the right girl.
I'd known that this was going to be tough,
I could feel myself falling deeper and deeper,
And at night, I cried on the inside.
Your honey dew eyes killed me in such good ways,
and I feared that we wouldn't have much time,
So you gave me your heart,
and you took mine.
