an addicts trial
I lay a kiss upon your brow
Cast a spell upon your heart
In a blur of heady motions
The slow seduction starts
It's a pull of gravitation
How nature's course is run
Where I silently beckon
And you are forced to come
To you, your love is just and true
Ecstatic at the chance
To me, a puppet on my strings
My tune dictates your dance
For I have lived millennia
As you have lived and died
I've carved my way in many a heart
My time I did yet bide
I am the downfall of all men
I set your blood aflame
I tip your balance so far down
You are never the same
Cast a spell upon your heart
In a blur of heady motions
The slow seduction starts
It's a pull of gravitation
How nature's course is run
Where I silently beckon
And you are forced to come
To you, your love is just and true
Ecstatic at the chance
To me, a puppet on my strings
My tune dictates your dance
For I have lived millennia
As you have lived and died
I've carved my way in many a heart
My time I did yet bide
I am the downfall of all men
I set your blood aflame
I tip your balance so far down
You are never the same
