VAIN BETRAYERS IN PRISMS

So many times I tried
To keep a promise I couldn’t help
But to break with your fractured heart

You’re so lost, devoid like me
Our tree at the cemetery
Remembers the hearse
Driven by the verse
That ferries dead souls to my curse

I thrive inside the heart
Of villains, traitors in prisms
The hounds inside the dark
Are vain betrayers of prisms

The cusp I wrought at the end
From stems that I must ascend
Dismembered by thorns
Driven by your horns
I descend, dawning at your mourn

I thrive inside the heart
Of villains, traitors in prisms
The hounds inside the dark
Are vain betrayers of prisms
I die within your haze
Of villains, traitors of prisms
Will you weep at my grave
With vain deceivers in prisms?

The path you wrought was forged with tears
That I’ve walked every single day
And the rose you place every year
Withers in misery and shame

Do you mourn with enemies
That grieve to bitter melodies
When strummed in the webs
That placate the dread
I envy those already dead

I thrive inside the heart
Of villains, traitors in prisms
The hounds inside the dark
Are vain betrayers of prisms
I die within your haze
Of villains, traitors of prisms
Will you weep at my grave
With vain deceivers in prisms?

So many times I tried
To keep a promise I couldn’t help
But to break with your fractured heart
