I walked away from you today
I walked away so you could say
that you want something in between
flowing back and forth, a stream

my heart skips a beat when I
see you, look you in the eye
such a power you have on me
I must know if you can see

our tangled feelings, intertwined
heart and body, soul and mind
flowing back and forth between
while rising like the morning steam

evaporating in the Sun
drawn together as we come
into a place that only we
can share together consciously

I walked away from you today
now I wait for you to say
I just need to know that you
feel the same way as I do
