Whiskey Bottom

“You’ve lost your edge”.
Really? That’s what you think.
Brushing the corners of the Earth
Drifting on glacier tides, now I’m tired Sinking…no, man. I’m classic. Vintage. Polished
“What do you know?”
More than you’ll learn,
Even if you lived for a thousand years
Looks can be deceiving;
I might be rusted and grimy
But I’m still flawless
“It’s a brave new world”.
The world isn’t brave
It damn sure isn’t new,
It’s the same, old wise world
Ready to devour the young blind eyes;
In other words, take a good look in the mirror
 Till you get a clue.
