The Departed
There may be those
Who hold grudges
For those who have left
A bitter lingering
On your tongue
Anger even, for one
Who entered so fervently
Departing without a word
Because honesty is not in their repertoire
She's sees it for what it was,
And is only quite grateful for him leaving
Her heart alone.
Who hold grudges
For those who have left
A bitter lingering
On your tongue
Anger even, for one
Who entered so fervently
Departing without a word
Because honesty is not in their repertoire
She's sees it for what it was,
And is only quite grateful for him leaving
Her heart alone.
