Baggage Claim
Our life experiences leaves us with baggage and hidden scars
Even more so when our journey has been dishearteningly hard
The more quantitative the battlefields the deeper the wounds
Which ultimately results in collateral damage to other people
Hurt people seem to hurt people unintentionally or intentionally
Due to having unresolved issues they're battling subconsciously
Like a Soldier trying to carry on while dealing with P.T.S.D
We're all trying to survive in this world without going crazy
Flight or fight are the ultimate options in the game of life
Turbulence gets rough and praying isn't always enough to deal with the strife
Many want to leave their bags at the door cause they can't take it anymore
They want to say goodbye and end their ride cause they need hope restored
So we need to uplift each other instead of hating & discriminating over skin color
We all proclaim to be children of GOD so why aren't we acting like sisters and brothers

Absolutely amazing, this was inspiring and magnificent!
there needs to be more writes like these to show that pain and frustration of how society just washes their hands of those that them most from the homeless soldier with PTSD to the single immigrant mom who get gets turned away because she either can't speak English right or isn't seen as a American citizen,
to even the seventeen year old with a mental disability that is stuck in an abusive household.
Needless to say these are all life scenarios that people should try and make better and not leave alone.
