Ravishing requiem

She wore her bright red hair in a bob with a black pin
a lock on just her left side dangling
unpinned
intentional?
of course it was
bewitching
brushing up against her rosy pink cheeks
ghost white skin made it melt against the stone columns
black eyelashes
divine divination
from the bridge drawing
celestial nose
a sleek slender vision of flawless smoke
glowing sapphire eyes
all senses succumbed to her shapely sight
a white sleeveless v neck dress
draped over her fetching frame
symmetrical lines jutting
bunched up black hoop bracelets on each delicate wrist
a yellow satin sash belt held everything together
a long white cigarette holder at least a foot long
embers burning red as fires in her hair
with smoke lines dancing around her flapper style
white high heels graced the marble floors
black lines racing up the middle
standing at a three quarter twist
as if to run up her legs into forever
inviting
where there’s smoke there’s fire
