Sunlight across her face as the window shines
Her lovely eyes blink the morning rise...
I held her tight during the late moon light
Her dreams still clear the inner sight...
A picture of a mirror with motion to deliver
The unknown sender of the heart divine...
What does come into focus, the prism divides...
A shutter to think...
A window to link...
The world of hidden thought
To the forbidden kind...

Hmmm ... to be awakened by sunlight ... "what does come into focus, the prism divides, a shutter to think, a window to link" ... love it, love it, love it. This one is such a swirl of barely awake, remembering dreams ... beautiful disorientation. Makes me hate to have to get up and get ready ... Bravo my versifier!
you are a total sweetheart...thank you very much...you find such meaning in things....when i write them...usually I am in the twilight state of thought...a place where words and objects melt into one another..where there in no separation of mind body and spirit ...and often times the meaning comes from somewhere esoteric in my heart...I only see it after it is on the paper...I feel like someone puts a spell on me...life is magic anyway...

I get where you're coming from ... sometimes things just come out. Blame it on the unconscious psyche I guess. To think 94 percent of Americans actually admit to not reading or writing poetry ... I pity them
