I Know How Noah Did It
Out in desert, waiting for the rain
Folks all thought Noah was insane
No trees in the desert to build an Ark
Left Noah with one big question mark
Then God sent down an ark making kit
The wood was good but the instructions were shit
He got stuck right in and built it anyway
Getting closer to the drowning judgement day
Stood back to admire, but it looked too small
He picked up his phone and gave God a call
The Lord our God dispatched a shrinking ray gun
To shrink all the animals, before loadings begun
He shrank the beasts, he shrank their food
They stood in line in twos they queued
He shrunk some fairies, he shrunk some elves
Then Noah and his family shrunk themselves
It rained for 40 days, it rained for 40 nights
As God destroyed all human rights
The ark survived, Noah’s family blessed
And mankind was replenished without incest
God inspired; this poem I penned
Honest; that’s what really happened
