Memories hiss horribly" -  fantastic imagery painted with these lines. i want to see sea snakes and a cracked open ship but i know it's a heart that needs healing. good stuff.

riptides, Mortally pierced - i'm climbing mountains of heartbreak and shooting harpoons in lovers hearts.

"a heart hunting opportunist
Blood catching"- blood thirsty lust seeking revenge.

"Reddening Cascadia sand
Still dreaming of my harpoonist"- standing on silent beaches,still searching for a lover with eyes like mine.

Thanks man! This was one that meant a lot to me. It's funny how so often our most personal meaningful poems don't get much traction, but offhand experimental pieces do.  I've talked to other poets with the same experience haha!

and that is why when i usually find a new poet on here to read i always go to their oldest page of poetry and try to read something with no comments. let them know someone somewhere cares,wants to read their work; because we do and there are hidden gems everywhere you just have to know where to look.

I agree with samael and try to dig out older stuff for the same reason. Here's one beautiful example to justify this method. Such a lovely write with a succulent finale. Great job, AtoMikbomb.
