I wanna connect the dots
can I go back to the spot
my heart stopped
like a large drop when
darkness and depression toppled,
the remnants of a happy kid,
I barely remember when
this happened
but I remember losing my friend
and it happened again
and again
and again
till I found heroin,
let the devil win,
i thought this was the end,
what happened than i can barely describe,
but if you could have seen my eyes
you would see the pain lying inside,
trying to find peace of mind
with every line,
every rhyme
every fucking time
i come back to who am I?
foolish it may be,
who woulda thought this could of happen to me?
fuck defeat
these roots run deep
guess we will have to wait and see

Wicked ! Drugs help heal the problem then become the problem once you've forgotten why you started taking them . Can relate bro . Respect that's my take anyway

Often times a write involving drugs looks to a finality. (Death, or beating the addiction) The reality usually has a great deal of uncertainty. Like all addictions there are ups and downs.
