The Cabin Inside My Head – Hidden Cabin Comp

He sits alone wondering how he got here
The cabin in the woods holds no clues
The window shutters and doors are locked
He feels concerned but not frightened
The cabin feels strangely familiar
He tries to remember how he got here
He gets up from the chair slightly dizzy
He walks to the table and holds on
Suddenly he feels an electrical jolt
His body spasms but he is still standing
He gasps, grips the table and shouts “Fuck.”

He turns around; another man is sitting in his chair
He is staring at the floor, avoiding all eye contact
He is physically shaking, he lets out a whimper
“Don’t touch me; please don’t touch me, please.”
“I am not going to touch you, you need to calm down.”
“How can I be calm? I don’t want to be here at all.”
“Well neither do I, but we are both still here.”
Both are still confused about how and why they
Both ended up in this wooden cabin together
The first man tries to comfort the second man
As he is clearly more scared about this predicament
They rack their brains for explanations, now calm

Suddenly, the door burst open noisily, they jump
A larger man stomps into the cabin, the door slams shut
“What the fuck is going on here?” he bellows
“Don’t let him hurt me.” Says the second man
“He’s not going to hurt you, well are you?”
“If I don’t get an explanation, I might hurt both of you.”
“Look I’ve got things to do. I don’t want to hang around here.”
The third man looks like he is ready to explode with rage
The second man cries and starts sobbing again
The first man tries to keep everyone calm
“Let’s start with names, mine’s David.”
The other two also identify as “David”

The first man start staring at the table
“What’s this, they weren’t here earlier.”
On the table are three automatic pistols
A yellow post it note say ‘one for each of you.’
The first man hands out the weapons
They check their weapons, all loaded
There is also an envelope on the table
Written in a scrawl it says ‘to David’
The first David thinks they should read it
The second David, sobbing, doesn’t want to know
The third David demands it is read out

The first David opens the envelope taking out the letter
“It’s a suicide note!” He says, now hands shaking
He reads it out loud it gives all his reasons
And feelings of great sadness and loneliness
He explains his hopelessness for anything positive
The letter is signed David. There is a PS
‘I am not brave; I’ll let you three decide.’
“Moaning faggot, I say let him die.” David 3
“No! We must save him.” Sobs David 2
“Let’s try and find a compromise.” Says David 1

“Fuck compromise you faggots!”
David three raises his gun and waves it between them
Automatically David 1 raises and points
Slowly and reluctantly David 2 does the same
A triangular shoot out ensues, clips emptied
The three Davids kill each other
At the same time killing David
His suicide now complete.
The cabin in his head disappears
