End of an era

 

I'm glad to have made your acquaintance
 And for the time we spent together.
I'm sorry that it's over now,
But nothing lasts forever.


I'm sorry it turned out this way
And I'm sorry you now despise me.
But you should know I never meant any harm
And I really am truly sorry.


I remember the good times we've shared,
Like when we laughed until we cried.
I remember the first time we met;
But now it seems a part of me has died.


But you can't stop fate and go back
And make things different.
But if it was possible and I could change things for the better;
I'd go back and make it, so we never met.


You’re better off without me;
I'm now just a pain in the ass.
But we shared some good times together.
Oh girl we had some laughs.
But I fucked things up by thinking with my dick;
I fucked the girl who to you is like a Sis.


So now I have to accept the consequences,
For the actions I have taken.
So I'll leave you here in happiness;
I'll take a little vacation.


I'm going to a better place,
One where I'm not in your way.
I hope you can understand
And still remember me some day.


I love you for always being there;
Always being at my side.
But times now up for you and me.
