Kaye

Its been six months since I've been home
Out here on the road, sometimes it's takes a toll
Whiskey, music and miles, they only steal your soul
Leaves you burned out, lonely and cold

But if you see Kaye
Will you tell her I miss her
If you see Kaye
Tell her I'm washed-out but okay
The band and crew
Neon lights
Nights with you
Makes me miss her
If you see Kaye... tell her I'll be home soon
Just not today
If you see Kaye

You made your way backstage at the show in Knoxville
Somehow I woke up to your brown eyes
On this bus, headed down to Dothan
But I was thinking of her when I saw that Alabama sunrise through the windshield

But if you see Kaye
Will you tell her I miss her
If you see Kaye
Tell her I'm washed-out but okay
The band and crew
Neon lights
Nights with you
Makes me miss her
If you see Kaye... tell her I'll be home soon
Just not today
If you see Kaye

I don't know if all this is right or wrong
But It will be my next song
Hope you will understand
I pray I'll still be her man

(Instrumental)

But if you see Kaye
Will you tell her I miss her
If you see Kaye
Tell her I'm washed-out but okay
The band and crew
Neon lights
Nights with you
Makes me miss her
If you see Kaye... tell her I'll be home soon
Just not today

If you see Kaye
If you see Kaye
If you see Kaye... tell her I'll be home soon
Just not today
