The Birds and Bees Sextalk  - - - -  - -(an acrostic poem)

You know, I don't recall ever being told about the birds & the bees. Definitely missed the line about standing up. Very creative style here. Big smiles

I got the birds and the bees at school thank goodness - the parental thing would have been awful - I do remember "women can't get pregnant if they do it standing up." and that "men who kept their stockings on couldn't get anyone pregnant" - Life is strange. it started off as a four letter word acrostic - there's an on-going DUP comp - so I did "Bees" then my mind went off on a strange journey to do the rest :-) Thank you for the kind comments. I am glad you enjoyed it :-)

I enjoy acrostics, just never had much success with them.

Yeah I don't do acrostics very often - it's hard to avoid lines and words feeling forced :-) the quiz thing sounds awful - I would have died (lol) and failed too :-)

David, mo Chara...really enjoy the bit of whimsy within this piece! Acrostic poetry poses quite a challenge, but you do have a definite creative talent for this particular form! So far, i've not developed my skill in this genre! Might say, my acrostics are atrocious (rather) ;p

Didn't ever hear the one about how a woman standing up prevented pregnancy. However..had an eccentric neighbor(lady) that informed me that i could become pregnant from a toilet seat! (a bit strange...that one---the method, as well as the well-meaning neighbor...;)  )

At this time I can only say that I love this write, I love you and Bravo! because I am desperately pressed for time, it's not that I don't want to say more like I normally would. I have been reading every poem over the past few days and having to multitask has fucked up my flojo. Please forgive this copy and pasted comment. Know this is killing me!!
