Day Dreams
In meadow
Surrounded by wildflowers,
Sweet woodruff
Thoughts of you cling to her
Sweet butter cup nectar on lips
Sun dappled lavender
Soothes away aches of longing
Lost In deep wonder
Glittering eyes
Fingers entangled
Wrists pressed together
Pulses meld, one beat
Heat hotter than the sun
They melt into each other
Blending of earth and flowers
Under the bough of trees
Cherry Blossom kisses fall,
She has tasted you
In her dreams

Sometimes, simply falling under the spell of a special place...letting our minds drift away into daydreams... is worth reality's sad longing. ( at least in daydreams, we retain absolute control )
