Deals on Wheels - - for the vroom vroom comp

Six miles an hour
Is certainly fast enough
Round the supermarket
Avoiding tall stacks
If I’m in the mood
To avoid them at all

Running up the legs
Of other shoppers
Serves them right
For stopping abruptly
And then there’s those
That just cut you up

I chase them down or
Force them to crash
Either way, I enjoy
Their pedestrian rage
As they trip up and fall

Scrambling their eggs
Breaking their biscuits
Squashing their cakes
Watch them run after
Rolling bottles and cans

But they can’t curse me out
I play the disabled card
Like a joker with four aces
And jump the queue
Right in front of them

My electric wheelchair
And the way I use it
Reflects exactly
Who and what I am
