Turn the Fire Back On
I need you now more than before
But it feels like you don't need me anymore
I can't feel the passion in your kiss
And I never thought we would feel like this
They say the honeymoon phase always ends
I feel like it could always find a second wind
I still long to be tangled in your embrace
You still leave me wanting more with every little taste
You don't do the things you used to
Now that the first year is through
I don't want routine and a rut as a southern housewife
I want someone to be crazy about me for the rest of my life
But it feels like you don't need me anymore
I can't feel the passion in your kiss
And I never thought we would feel like this
They say the honeymoon phase always ends
I feel like it could always find a second wind
I still long to be tangled in your embrace
You still leave me wanting more with every little taste
You don't do the things you used to
Now that the first year is through
I don't want routine and a rut as a southern housewife
I want someone to be crazy about me for the rest of my life
