A Man of Faith

Every man is inherently similar
But every man has a different button to push
Some get mad
Some will silently get even with revenge
Some, it activates their super egos
But some will simply breakdown and cry
I've learned to laugh at those stupid enough to push it
And then let it slide right on by
Because I'm in control
Real men will pick their fights carefully Fighting only those worthy of fighting
But angry arrogant tyrants will pay a heavy price
Now some men will cower in total fear
Tremble, shake and grovel
And some will look death right in the face and fight
Neither is illogical
Because the dead know only one thing
It's better to be alive
But when that storm breaks
Each man will act in accordance to his own nature
Some will become dumb with fear
Some will hide
And some will run and flee
But some men will spread there wings like angels
And fly
Some men will want to listen
Some will comprehend everything, including what is not spoken or heard
And there will be those who won't have a clue
Fearing they will never understand the uncertainties they will face
Their minds racing along
Well there's nothing to fear but fear itself
As fear can make a rational man do irrational things
Those men will make a train wreck of  nothing
They are dangerous
Delusional, mostly lost in their own lies, hate and rhetoric
They will seek out to make everything a negative situation
And it's quite simple, they haven't any faith
But a man of faith
He has chosen his path and although this road may become rough and rocky
He will embrace it with strength, courage and love
Everything will have it's purpose
The good and bad
No matter where it takes him
He will have the Lord by his side
And he will have truth and unconditional love
That's all a man really needs to survive And die
