I used to fear success
I had to get used to it
It made me wary of whom to trust
Eventually I trusted nobody
When I finally did that
The playing field was level
Then I looked to others with similar issues
Found out that success and failure were cosmic
The fear factor paramount
An old saying by Uncle Dave
Helped me every time
Not his own expression
But new to me
He would say:
Rich or poor it's good to have money
Take that to the bank son
