In times like these
You are supposed to say
It's okay
She's in a better place
But for him
It is her
Being in his arms
In times like these
You are supposed to
Bring him food
When he doesn't feel like eating
It isn't going to bring back
The love of his life
In these times
You gather
Together wearing black
Telling him
Everything will be fine
But you don't know
How he feels inside
All he wants
Is to have more time
With the love of his life
You are supposed to say
