Sunrise Diary - (28th of June, 2017)

Lying to sleep at night beneath
Thoughts’ constant stomp and shove,
Inner self pleading everything is alright
As one by one the stars above
Slip silently, silver-ly from the sky,
(G)one by (g)one any hopes of love
Fade away with every goodbye
 
Everything is always exaggerated  
Until everything else is a lie.
Nothing is merely meaningless
When pondering questions why.
 
And
Moment to moment
To
Minute to minute
The second hand quickens
And spins
 
Over and over  
Convincing the self
It’s in it to win it
Again.
