The Awakening
After a realistic dream, I see that I am asleep. And if I don't have a strategy and will to wake up, I wake in another dream from which I handle a waking ritual.
And if I can't tell that I am still asleep, I go back into deep sleep to begin another dream.
If I actually awake, I am paralyzed in bed in an in and out state where I either force myself up or close my eyes and don't notice that I never rose.
The futures we cling to are fleeting fits of magic sand in a child's eyes.
