I close my eyes
Look into the sun
Watch all the colors
As they come undone
Shades of orange
Change into red
Thoughts of her
Flashing in my head
Gotta break free
From the chains
The chains that bind me
Just once, I wanna know how it feels
Just to let go of the wheel
To look into the sky
And let my spirit fly
Will you be there
When I crash land
Cause, they'll never understand
From the outside
It looks so perfect
The inside of a ring, like my heart
Filled with emptiness
Sometimes it's hard to tell
Just where you stand
Left hand holds the gold
But... right holds her soul

The chorus in your song is awesome. Very vivid description. I am sure everyone has looked to the sky at some point and made a crash landing that no one would ever understand.
