Power of Eyes: Hidden Beauty
Your green eyes, like getting lost in the dark
Forest. Your brown eyes, like tree bark
And mud. Your blue eyes, like swimming
In pools of deep water. They are dimming
In the light and brighter in the shadows.
They strip me down like taking off clothes.
I should not be fooled by their mysterious
Power and the ability to make me delirious.
Be warned that look will leave you spilling
Secrets you should not. A Medusa killing
Stare that freezes you. It is the kind of look
That steals your heartbeat. Those eyes hook
You in and go in for the hit. They leave you
Feeling guilty and sorry. The capacity to
Make you feel paralyzed. Gaze away while
You still can. They can make you smile
And laugh. They can take you off guard
And ditch you to become really scarred
So be ready for whatever comes your way
Even though they fight they want you to stay.
