ON THE STREETS OF NIGERIA

You'll find them
Specimens meant for labs
Their skeletal structure making visible imprints on worn out flesh
They call them disadvantaged children
You'll find them
on the streets of Nigeria

You'll find them
Gluttonous man-eating wells
Blood thirsty hollows
Man made murderous hell
They call them roads
You'll find them
On the streets of Nigeria

You'll find them
With sad sunken bloodshot eyes
Crumpled rumpled shirts
Disembodied ties and bleeding soles
They call them graduates and applicants
You'll find them
On the streets of Nigeria

Then you'll find them
Radiant robust rodents
In CRV's and Bentleys
Waving from tinted windows
Waving to walking corpses
They call them politicians
You'll find them
On the thrones of Nigeria
