Mutual Attraction
I may never know how mutual attraction is,
a chick whom likes me back, sexually in that way
to keep from going insane. Only fantasies I have
to watch others seemingly there, is akin to death
two people in ecstasy, so in love
an alternate Universe, alien to my sad life.
I wonder how I got this way,
my limerence and lust, is all I have.
Wonder if I'd fare better in death
Poetry! A poor substitute for love
they cast me out, then chide my life
or lack thereof, no touch tonight it is -
a grim pit, pain is all I have
never to know - might as well be death
or at least a monk. No more self love
the pain is too deep. 'Tis no life
I see her oft' pretty she is
one-sided lust. Always been the way.
Either I've loved her to death.
Or she denied me to love
this is not a life.
Theme of my soul it is
or she would force her way
to use me, all to have.
