BURIED BENEATH

You cast a curse atop my grave
And spit your blood upon my name

Let me feel the hatred
Running through your veins
And now I sleep beneath stone
After a life of blame

I wish to let you know
My heart is growing cold
Drive your nails through my chest
Until there’s nothing left
I know I’ve lost my soul

Cut yourself with black thorns
To masquerade the pain
That you’ve buried beneath stone
Six feet deep in the taint

I cast a curse atop your grave
And spit my blood upon your name

You wish to let me know
Your heart is growing cold
Drive your nails through my chest
Until there’s nothing left
I know you’ve lost your soul

I am the star, most foul, fallen to the Earth
You are the scar, right now, dying for rebirth
Become the song, echo through lullabies
Remain as bone, sparrows and alibis
You are the star, right now, fallen to the Earth
I am the scar, most foul, dying from rebirth
Remain as song, sparrows and alibis
Become the bone, echo through lullabies

You wish to let me know
Your heart is growing cold
Drive your nails through my chest
Until there’s nothing left
I know you’ve lost your soul

I wish to let you know
My heart is growing cold
Drive your nails through my chest
Until there’s nothing left
I know I’ve lost my soul
