in the well
the knife
that shaves
the quill
which scratches
tissue papered surface
I can't fit in
deep lines
forever
enjambed
stopping and
stuttering
then flowing

Are you writing poetry on toilet paper? I probably should be. Stanza 5 reminds me of a difficult bowel movement. tissue papered surface has sent me down this road of commode talk.

I enjoyed the imagery of this one. Took me to Shakespeare, candles on dark nights, and verse born of ink stained hands bleeding from the paper to the desk.
