Far Away Rain
Subtle thoughts of yesterday rumble
in every dancing bolt of energy
across a sacrificial sky
Tepid droplets of moisture awaken
senses once lost and lonely
seeking to breathe another day
Thunder rings out loudly
(or is that your heart?)
calling out my name
Water falling down gentle
eyes and hands wide open
catching every part of you
in every dancing bolt of energy
across a sacrificial sky
Tepid droplets of moisture awaken
senses once lost and lonely
seeking to breathe another day
Thunder rings out loudly
(or is that your heart?)
calling out my name
Water falling down gentle
eyes and hands wide open
catching every part of you

That first stanza set the most amazing imagery in my mind and it just kept building. I revel in days/nights like this! Beautiful!

Again... you gave us some beautiful imagery...
"Thunder rings out loudly
(or is that your heart?)
calling out my name" > my favorite stanza, though I love them all...
