THE DEVIL CHOSE ME

Don’t let me know how you feel
I am apathetic to your plight
The destroyer set before your path
My clawed hands rend throughout the night
It doesn’t matter death becomes you
I see the bodies in the mirror
Love on my left, Malice at my right
I have never seen it more clearer

The darkness always seems to prevail
I thrive in madness when angels scream
On the cross with crucifixion nails
I know, I know the devil chose me

Spit my disgust in the martyr’s face
As he wails screaming in agony
His cries fell on deaf ears of his God
A father garroting the empty sun
I will find the shadow in blue skies
And be the one to bring the thunder
I have an ax to grind with the day
Kill in the name of Abel’s murder

The darkness always seems to prevail
I thrive in madness when angels scream
On the cross with crucifixion nails
I know, I know the devil chose me

I will be the one
At the end of it all
To see the spiral
The eventual fall

I will take you to the end of horizons

The darkness always seems to prevail
I thrive in madness when angels scream
On the cross with crucifixion nails
I know, I know the devil chose me
The darkness always seems to prevail
I thrive in madness when angels scream
On the cross with crucifixion nails
I know, I know the devil chose me
