Hazards

again, for James, one who was difficult to let go of

I listened to your song tonight. The
One you sang for me as we watched
The stars twinkle above us at three
A.M. I forgot how music can slay
Me open, how it slices through me.
You were everything I've ever
Dreamed of. I can't forget your body
Above mine, I can't forget reaching
Up to caress your face as you
Pummeled me fast and hard and
Deep. I'd kissed the razor scars on
Your chest and told you jokingly
If you ever did that again I'd spank
Your hot delicious ass and enjoy it
Too much. I used to cut too, but you
Already knew that. I can't forget the
Way you'd grin at me. I truly believe
You were my son in a past life. Was
It so wrong that I asked to see you
Before you moved to a different city...
Why was that so bad. You know I
Did well with you, I left you alone to
Live your life. I ached for your
Happiness. I knew I could never own
The heart of haunting perfection like
You. I guess you're gone by now.
I am blocking out the fact I'll never
See you again. It was like God had
Looked inside me and created you
From every longing and wish and
Fantasy I've ever had. Just... Please.
Be happy. Play music like you were
Born to. I'll forever remind myself
That gorgeous god like black haired
20 year old emo boy guitarists are
Extremely hazardous to my health.
