It's a quiet hush settling over my heart
My fingers laced in your hair
Your breaths growing slow and even
With closed eyes
You pull my hand to your face
And kiss me gently
Soft pink lips brushing against my skin
Your head nestled into my lap
Snuggling warm, pillowy thighs
You drift off to sleep
As I look at you
My heart smiles
