Dear Dr. Lecter,

It's so nice to hear from you
after all this time. I do hope
you're well and your 'diet'
has improved. I've often thought
of your health,
and that of your 'acquaintances'.

Let's hope I address the points
you made in your correspondence
to your complete satisfaction.

No; I do not think detailed reports succinctly filed in order
could stop the lambs from crying.
I have, however, discovered overt
( vs covert that may or may not
be decrypted ) Honesty
about our past experiences
seems to allow them to rest in peace. �

I suppose I have you to thank
for that, but am not certain I ever did,
thus your continuing concern
for my well-being.

So, for whatever it's worth,
thank you, Dr. Lecter.
Hopefully the lambs
will stop screaming for you too, now.

Of course most men
are threatened by a woman's ideals
and strength. Their desperate
desire to be a super hero
that saves the day
( and hopefully sacks the girl too )
is ingrained by our
�patriarchal society.

And what better way
to obtain that legendary reputation
than by first trampling
on women, then helping them up?

But not too far up, you see;
only, maybe, shoulder height. �

I would like to say
I was completely comfortable
in the suit I wear; however,
I cannot in all honesty, having gone swimsuit shopping recently.
Therefore, I've opted to become
more healthy.

Perhaps you could
consider such too?
I hear vegetarianism
is the way to go.

And cannibalism
is so yesterday's news.

What many males fail to
understand about Southern
women is their ability to discern
the obvious thoughts of men
through their actions.

So while men are busy fondling
a woman's skin and shapely curves
with their eyes, she's focusing
on the the location of the muderer.

And while they're busy imagining
what she'd look like in a creamy white
lip gloss complimenting the drawn
out vowels of her tongue,
she's booking a plane
to the crime scene.

And while sometimes
unmutual respect
is misinterpreted
as a need for approval,
it's just that;
an underestimation.

A costly distraction.

Because you see, that's how
we're taught; turn that other cheek
because there's always
more than one way
to skin ( no pun intended ) a cat.

That, and allowing those macho-
types permission to hang themselves.

Who are "little ladies" to tell
them to watch out
for all that tangled rope
they dropped themselves?
