Indeed and in deed Josh! I welcome your presence and insight.  Yes, it's a good news indeed,  in the long run probably the best of the good news. She did it.

to feel alive is not always an easy thing to do, I am not even sure that somebody who has proof they have a life actually feels alive - I love the deliberate ambiguity here - leaves the reader room to think :-)

Great piece my brother. I am so glad she's alive! This poem is deep in it's beauty and is a great celebration of life, the gift of being alive. We can never take it for granted for one day we all pass, we never know when that day shall arrive. This did a good job of reminding me that. Thank you for sharing it!
