Sensual Escalation....(on the Eve of a Moment, well spent)
Spending the day
thinking 'bout you girl.............
…......I can't explain myself
why I feel like I do”
the scent of you,
the long day is over
and you open the door
come inside
the bath is waiting yet you.....
…...drop your clothes
catching the breeze by
the open window.
gentle currents blowing my way
your scent
in the evening breeze
upon the eve of a moment well spent
a pungent aroma
of a creamy, rich tonic
the day gone by,
the aching of tired legs,
the spent “notion”
rising from in between your thighs
“....love won't let you wait”
the fading of your “secrète Datura”
a nectar that captures my mind
less than plutonic, my desires
of you now.........
rawness
naked, showing
tensions growing
the smell of prickly sweat
folded between
intimate places
that we two.....share
(...and your pussywillow smells divine)
you and I
naked and bare
upon the eve of a moment
well spent
a sensual escalation
wrapped up in the vapors
of your feral scent.........

Goes well with the picture (painting by 19th century French artist Gustave Courbet, L'Origine du Monde - also painted Les Sommeil - The Sleepers - of two naked women on a bed, about which I have written a few poems).
