skullflower

heart full of ocean.
sky full of aeon.

it always felt like i were on holiday there.
in the shadow of the moon.

you let me push the hair past your ear
like a bandsaw blade over an idler wheel.

a lip quiver.
a mouth full of ghost.

instead of eyes,
a pair of machine guns
blossoming the back of my skull.
