The Soul Of Nature

A hint of zest cuts the crisp country air
granting the sunflower a morning kiss
intoxicating, as my very breath held tight
savoring a special springtime song
with a choir of angels humming along

A soft ray of sun winks behind the white
caressing the heart of the glistening dew
enticing the day to come alive
the fields dance as a warm wind blows
and in harmony, love is found in her soul
