Inception

CYCLE III: WATER

Though earth does give us rise and so return,
And spark of fire does lively pow’r bring forth.
Through living water, life ex-celled its kern.
And creatures filled the world in lively course.
From fluid filled to fluid held, we burst.
‘Til one and one conform to fix our one.
In mother’s warming sea do we swim first,
Then through the flooding gate are we begun.
Though on the rugged seas have hands been lost,
And confluence has swallowed sailors whole,
A thirst not quenched can take a man, its cost,
Or with sweet flow retrieve a dying soul.
For water seems like love that fills our hearts,
Within it wetting grace our lives impart.
