'In Memorium'
Dead...
long gone
gone along...
outdistancin'
memory...
Read...along,
the dusted ashes'
gust, alone
burrow on...
Placid will...
unsteadily churns,
the ill's prong...
Dead...
long, long, gone...

This reads in a keening sound to me. I keep seeing souls struggling lately. What's with the world these days? Offering hugs if you need one

This is beautiful and sad at the same time. It is best to write during those bad and sad times. That is when we heal the most. Hugs to you, my dear.

The weight of sadness was palpable in this one, Poetik. Written straight from the Spirit connecting with its audience. .

Melancholy is the flow of the verses,
like a cold, heavy wind that blows in with the rain...

The space between words felt to me like someone who is crying and speaking. The way we sometimes choke on our words between sobs. Also how the way the words seperated from each other gave that illusion too. Was that intention? Because I believe it adds to the poem. Gave it that extra depth.
