Mother Life
There's a funny thing about life. She doesn't care about your feelings, your ability to do things, or what your dreams are. She's here so we can figure them out on our own. She's as brutal and merciless as Death. But she does it for a reason. You see, Life is our beginning, our mother. She wants us to experience anything and everything the world has to offer. She doesn't want you to to welcome Death too early so she adds obstacles in your way to prepare you for when the time is right. Like chess pieces, she wants you to knock them down one by one and conquer the board. She doesn't make them impossible but sometimes she likes to push you to where you think they are because she knows how proud you'll feel afterwards. I've noticed that Life likes to make her brother Death an obstacle, another chess piece on the board. Death being the king while Life is the player opponent. She knows that most overcome this obstacle through grieving. Those who don't, choose to be checkmated and fall into Death's arms. Life has no time to mourn for all who have fallen early. For as long as Earth keeps spinning, she will always have to keep playing.
