CHTHONIAN COURTESAN

'The body lays, motionless
In this room, lit only by candelabra
Rust and blood was monochromatic
In the dim light that it offered

And a trial would begin'

With ire, doth the wind vivisect the woods
And all nocturnal beast lay silenced
Scattered the dead, this black gale of soot
Snuffing from horizon, its volar cadence
From vitreous pools, the light had strayed
They hath arrived to set the moon in place
To seek of the dark, the debt of day
And shear from eyes, the weight of space

Their gaze meets the howling sky, waiting
For perdition to reclaim what's lost

And so stars will depart
As her semblance mourns the tapestry reversed
And her ever dysrhythmic heart
As the footsteps from beyond are upon hers
Bereft of tension to the floor
To taste of a lengthening scar
Sleep, goddess, the scythe to core
For it is odium that's thy avatar

Floccipended by the living realm
Forgotten as a broken shell
An alabaster hand wreaths the herd
But what hands would sculpt the curves?

A spirit given amnesty, flown
From the grave to Heaven, meet
Oblivion sours the lake she'd known
Her ghostly arms, won't lover greet
Down river Acheron these spirits go
Around the edges weep Lichtenberg trees
Pale pinnacles of the mire and slough
Twisted branches, to caress them, reach

Pity the fool with black rose in hand
To halls where angels dare not reside
A stigma would turn glass their triptych sand
And years would pass before the rose will dry

Queen of insanity and chaos
Taketh upon her wing, the martyr
From the flight of redemption, tossed
Into daemons claws that once availed her

Of those screams, she'll never tire
As silence is uncertainty
Every soul that suffers feeds her fire
As Death's perpetual lust increased

'Ghastly impressions on the mirror
A sinister invocation
Blood circles the ground impure
And black candles are snuffed
One by one

The body writhes, emaciates
Grins
Pupils breach sclera
She has come'
