An ocean beautiful and deep
Soft gentle waves lapping at the shore
Reflecting grey, green and specks of gold
As the light dances across each crest

Wave after wave, washing over my soul
Draws me to wade in further
Draws me to quench my thirst
Invites me to let go….. and surrender to its tide

Beneath the surface
A depth so intense
It consumes me
Leaving me breathless

Yet, it breathes life….

Untold mysteries
Adventures, if I dared
Treasures of the deep
Creation at its best

I blink, and I’m staring into your eyes….
