Down

Down

I was wearing a shroud
Of disbelief
Through a  mask of red and black
I smiled
Though it was weak
Like my heart and good intentions
Like the Earth beneath my feet

I was on the edge
Of Swallowed whole
Through my lacerated fate
Ripped through by a 7th prince
Came Beelzebub with glaring eyes
Electric blue like my ruins gate
Vivid as the terrors that shook my nights

He held me down
I had walked above it
In my mourning gown
I surrendered rectitude
I felt his drown
Desperate for breathe
I unleashed dogma
Kissed the mouth of death
Suckled moral turpitude
It felt so good
Going down
I lost myself and swallowed
Leaving bitch my new name and attitude

I now wear my crown
And masks of gold
In demon speak
My story told
In tongues that snake
Raw twisted hold
