Fantasy

Set beneath the ruined sun
My eyes scorch the earthen run
There beyond the dusty beach
Father comes round to breach
The light that warms the cragg'd moor
Hiding glance of that wooden door
Shaming the shadows quick to preen
Oe'r the Crimson devil's fiend

Bleeding down upon the rock
Seven ships soon to dock
Many a merry married men
Gather round the whore to mend
The preying tongue of their transgression
And the curdling fire of obsession

The seed of doubt that fuels their fire
Longs more for the pint that seals desire
If not for wont on velvet fingers
To smooth the crease that briskly lingers
Then for the wives who drift slowly ever
To find their men transcending the never
