- THE HERETIC AND THE EXHUMED -

The scent of her nightshade drives me wild
As a savage beast hunted and reviled
Forest at her back, death shroud as a dress
Spirit in the flask leaves me breathless
Carpathian beauty, lightning strikes
As the flood pushes against withered dikes
She comes as an absinthe fog, lovers kissed
At the tree of death in necro bliss

I chiseled her song into weathered stone
And played the light long
Phantasmagoric on glorious bones

Many young men came, so sure and virile
To find a witch, black magik and peril
The tempest lashed from the dreary clouds
From holy temples to graveyard mounds
‘Til at last they beheld her beauty
Raven hair, an angel wrapped in cruelty
And she appeared as lust personified
Then in the depth of night she sucked them dry

She’s chimeric, the clock strikes doom
She’s vampiric, long dead heirloom
I’m dysphoric, beneath full moons
The heretic and the exhumed

The fire flickers across the crypt
Black candles arranged to showcase the pit
She’s knee deep in the dead, Bathory-esque
Drenched in blood, the goddess of grotesque

She’s chimeric, the clock strikes doom
She’s vampiric, long dead heirloom
I’m dysphoric, beneath full moons
The heretic and the exhumed

She kissed me once and whispered
“Don’t cross my cemetery again
Or the first born from your loins
Shall taste death on my altar of sin”

And thus I brought her gifts ‘cross the peaks
Snow capped and storm wrought from my city seat
To her throne of bones, skulls and patellas
A horde of whores, beggars, Cinderellas
For I shall love none other than her
They are but fodder to be set to burn
On the spit to feed the lycan delight
Love me forever, we will rule the night

She’s chimeric, the clock strikes doom
She’s vampiric, long dead heirloom
I’m dysphoric, beneath full moons
The heretic and the exhumed
She’s chimeric, the clock strikes doom
She’s vampiric, long dead heirloom
I’m dysphoric, beneath full moons
The heretic and the exhumed
