This may be insignificant for you
and I doubt in any sense felt the same
but there is a craving and attraction
every time I remember your name

The room could be filled to the tee
but your presence lifts my day
mind, body, and soul roundly
activated and in play

I watch that sultry walk
and all of me comes alive
love to taste your honey
and partake in the sweet hive

On cloud nine when you interact
with others and still give me a sign
acknowledging I am around
simple but blows my mind

I pocket my full emotions only
because my path may not be one
that you care to traverse
or be a witness when I come undone

So as Spring presents it's colors
