Indescribable
Indescribable
my thoughts hanging out
words push to the front
suddenly where'd they go
twirling off my tongue
you're more than just a setting sun
Pushing pencil strokes painting
beauty in an ever welcomed eye
brushes of kindheartedness appear
in the shadows controlling
the contours and the fear
Backdrop stops where colors lie
yellow swirls of honey
attracting more than just
the sweetness of a simple smile
inscribing unfiltered desire
filling page after page
Chapters start and chapters close
but I propose that twinkle
will never die when the ink dries
the syllables will align creating lines
describing the indescribable
in hues of heavenly descent
my thoughts hanging out
words push to the front
suddenly where'd they go
twirling off my tongue
you're more than just a setting sun
Pushing pencil strokes painting
beauty in an ever welcomed eye
brushes of kindheartedness appear
in the shadows controlling
the contours and the fear

attracting more than just

describing the indescribable
in hues of heavenly descent

You have quite the way of spinning luxurious imagery with your pen. Truly a marvelous write. Your last stanza is especially striking. Powerful rhyme and a grand read overall. Thank you for the share xxxxx

That first stanza reminds me of the kind of inspiration that is so intense you have a million words and none of them will coalesce into a solid thought. Been there myself. Your muse remains strong and beautiful

Indescribable indeed, Tim. I think this is when it's just supposed to be experienced. Well done.
The imagery is inspiring.

I felt this piece emphasized beauty rather than romance. Nonetheless, I like the themes of art and color.
