poetic tragedy
Close me up before my eyes see, life is simply a painful melody, poetic tragedy let my faith create reality. It's simple to live afraid the images we make will soon fade. Be a light inside of me, cut out society and the words they can't shape me. Don't ask me don't ask me to save a world that despises me. Web of lies in the back door of my mind I slam it shut but it follows me....

This poem reads of a slightly tormented & sensitive soul. You try to close the door but can't shut out the torment. You are as good as everybody else, if not better, so be your own light & see what happens. No one is asking you to save the World but it is your choice if you wish to save it, but save it from what? That is the question. I'm guessing, from hate. I like the rhyming sequences you have used here also. A good write.
